Dancing

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

I always wanted to learn how to dance. I have always been fascinated by ballroom dance, especially when everyone knows all of the same moves. There is a site that has all kinds of dance videos, history, steps, suggestions, and information. The site is located at www.DanceCrazy.com, and you can purchase some of these awesome videos! There are all kinds of dance videos, including salsa dancing, tango dancing, line dancing, swing dancing and much more! Dancing is an excellent way to get your exercise, and fun too. It would also be an awesome way to impress your friends, can you imagine going to the club one night and just being able to do some crazy dances? It would be fun!

Romney disses his own party

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

Mitt Romney has a new ad out - and he says that Democrats are not the only ones to blame for the rotten state of politics in Washington, D.C. He says that Republicans need to put their own house in order before they can bring about change in the capitol. Seems like kind of an odd way to try to win the Republican nomination.

Amendment to Be

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

The Simpsons television program has been doing hilarious parodies for years. This particular clip is from many seasons ago, but it is still relavant today. Watch as The Simpsons creators scorn both our representation in Washington and educational cartoon “Schoolhouse Rock”

Law Vacation

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

I recently went on vacation in New York. Well, it was more of a business trip, as I had to meet two former clients about a new case that is using their precedent. They wanted to keep their names out of the paper as much as possible to avoid confusion. While not worrying about their needs, I spent time in the lovely New York Bed and Breakfast I got lucky enough to go to.

Outdoor Kitchens

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

There are many complaints in the legal world about carbon monoxide concentrations leading to adverse health effects. While it’s true that carbon monoxide can be lethal, it’s no reason to stop using the stove. If you think there is a gas leak, simply do not use the appliance in question for a while. You could even look into an outdoor kitchen which is gaining popularity.

Supplements

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

I wish that consumers knew the difference between FDA approved medicines and nutritional supplements. Both can give you good health and both can have adverse effects, depending on what it is and the dosage taken. I guess you could say supplements aren’t for a specific health condition and aren’t overly dangerous in any concentration, but can lead to better overall health and virility.

Wall Sconce

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

Have you ever seen the different types of wall sconce
That they have. They give the home a real majestic feel to it and simply they just add a nice touch. They were one of the main things I wanted to put in when I remodeled my house. There is so many different styles you can choose from, you would be amazed at the possibilities.

New Jewelry

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

The wife has been on a jewelry kick, she likes the designer inspired jewelry. I don’t mind tho since the stuff makes her happy. She doesn’t mind that I buy DVD’s and video games like a madman so I cant complain about her jewelry habits. She has bought a few real expensive pieces but they will hold their value so it is not an issue.

Time for a Mailbox

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

Have you ever seen those cbu mailboxes. They always kind of look majestic. We have had the same old crusty mailbox for several years now. The thing is a wreck and we just haven’t thought about it while we were out shopping. I mean the thing has even been blown up with m80’s, that was my fault. I think I am going to have to buy one real soon, the door doesn’t even close on it.

Edwards wants education overhaul

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

John Edwards made a stop in Iowa on the campaign trail this week, and announced that he has the answers to what’s ailing the American public education system. Of course, most people agree that Bush’s No Child Left Behind program is a failure, but I’m not sure that Edwards’ proposals of longer school years and universal preschool are really what’s needed. It seems like summer vacation has gotten a lot shorter since I was in school already - do we really want our kids’ childhoods to be nothing but endless school year after school year?
