LED Christmas Lights

Friday, November 9th, 2007

Are you looking to partake in a greener holiday season this year? If you are interested in saving the environment, as well as some money on your power bill, consider LED Christmas tree lights. LED lights have all sorts of advantages. First of all, they are safer than incandescent lights of the past that we’re all used to. These aren’t glass and they don’t operate at high temperatures. There is no more risk for shattered little bulbs or fires due to overheating! Best of all, they use a tenth the energy traditional bulbs do and last 25 times longer! This holiday season, do the environment and yourself a favor by going with the safe, efficient alternative: LED lights!

Stark Honesty

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

Rep. Pete Stark of California has never been known as one to hold his tongue. This case isn’t any different, as he takes congressional time to voice his concerns over Bush and the Iraq war, as well as the recent SCHIP veto. Watch as he brings it all together for one of the most scathing rebukes against the president to date. People are demanding his apology, and I for one stand behind his true statements. Someone needed to say it.

Mean Jean Classics

Friday, August 10th, 2007

A few years ago, there was a special election in Ohio that sent “Mean” Jean Schmidt to the United States House of Representatives. This is an old clip, but it still demonstrates the arrogance of this crazy woman, voted one of Washington’s 10 Dumbest.

Delegates Get Vote in WV

Saturday, July 28th, 2007

West Virginia delegates don’t normally get a vote on the floor, but recently they were blessed with the ability to shape policy. They will be voting on which hamburger should named after them after they saw the Senator burger at a local restaurant. Maybe it’s just the fact Robert Byrd is the senator in question. Everything in the state is named after the Senator of 600 years. I’m glad to see that cutting-edge legislation is coming from the Mountaineer State, but at least it’s not the real congress wasting time and money on these meaningless projects.

Work On Capitol Hill

Thursday, July 19th, 2007

If you’ve ever wondered where your tax dollars go, here is an example. This is an old clip from before the Democrats took the Congress, but the idea is the same. Here, we have Sen. Harry Reid delivering a monotonous soliloquy about the War in Iraq. Behind him, as you can see, Sen. Robert Byrd is paying full attention. I wonder what they’d come up with if they stopped sleeping and beating around the bush? Maybe ending the war, perhaps?
