Duke LX Team Innocent
All charges have been dropped against the Duke Lacrosse players accused of rape. I can remember just a few weeks ago, everyone had these frat boys pegged as absolutely guilty. Now, prosecutors hellbent on putting these kids behind bars despite complete lack of evidence and credibility are getting their dues from reporters. It always seems like these prosectors and media work together to try and convict people in the court of public opinion long before its brought before a judge. We live in a society where peers will decide your fate in a court of law, but that doesn’t mean we get to cut out the whole process! Public opinion as a guide to leadership is never a bright idea, as seen here.
