Lawsuit filed against the VA
The family of a veteran of the war in Iraq has filed a negligence suit against the Department of Veterans Affairs. Their son served in Iraq, and when he returned, he was denied mental health help from the VA. He then committed suicide. The family is hoping that their suit will bring to light the problems in the VA and cause the Bush administration to fix the way Iraqi vets’ problems are handled.
